ThinkEquity LLC acts as Co-Manager on AVI BioPharma, Inc.'s Public Offering of Common Stock

The Company issued 23,000,000 shares of common stock at a price of $1.50 per share raising gross proceeds of approximately $34.5 million. As part of this offering, the underwriters exercised in full their option to purchase an additional 3,000,000 shares of common stock from the Company. ThinkEquity LLC acted as Co-Manager in this transaction. AVI BioPharma's common stock trades on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol "AVII".
