Steve Bono Joins ThinkEquity LLC as a Principal In ThinkWealth Management.
San Francisco, August 29, 2006 — ThinkEquity LLC, a research-centric investment bank, announced today that Steve Bono has joined as a Principal in ThinkWealth Management. Mr. Bono will work out of the San Francisco office.
Mr. Bono joins ThinkEquity Partners from the Bank of America Private Bank where he was a Vice President of Market Development. Prior to his tenure at Bank of America Steve spent fifteen years as a NFL quarterback, playing for seven teams, in two Super Bowls and one Pro Bowl. He retired from the NFL in 2000 to join several of his former teammates at HRJ Capital (Harris Barton, Ronnie Lott and Joe Montana), a venture capital fund of funds and hedge fund. Steve was primarily involved with business development, investor relations and the structuring of a fund. He is still active with the San Francisco 49ers as a member of the Alumni Board which provides mentoring to current players, is a liaison to alumni players and actively represents the team in the community.
