Brad is responsible for the company's global product management efforts in display advertising on AdSense, as well as the company's platform Optimization solutions. Brad came to Google from DoubleClick, where he was Vice President of Product Management, responsible for the optimization suite of products including DART Adapt and Boomerang, used by leading publishers, agencies, and marketers worldwide. He joined DoubleClick in 1997, and held several leadership positions during his tenure in both the US and Europe. He is a co-inventor of a number of patents pending in the areas of data and privacy.

Sam Bhaumik
Senior Managing Director, Group Head of Technology, Hercules Technology Growth Capital
Samir Bhaumik joined the company in November 2004 as a Managing Director and was promoted to Senior Managing Director in September 2006. Mr. Bhaumik previously served as Vice President-Western Region of the New York Stock Exchange from March 2003 to October 2004. Prior to working for the New York Stock Exchange, Mr. Bhaumik was Senior Vice President of Comerica Bank, previously Imperial Bank, from April 1993 to February 2003. Mr. Bhaumik received a B.A. from San Jose State University and an M.B.A from Santa Clara University. He serves on the advisory boards of Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley and the American Electronics Association-Bay Area council.
Brian Biles

Brian Biles co-founded Data Domain in October 2001 and has served as Vice President of Product Management since 2006. Prior to 2006, Mr. Biles held the position of Vice President of Marketing. Victor Boyajian

Walter Buckley
Co-Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board, Internet Capital Group
Walter is co-founder, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Internet Capital Group. Prior to ICG, Walter was vice president of acquisitions for Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., where he led many of Safeguard's investments through the mid-1990s, including Diamond Technology; XL Vision, Inc.; ChromoVision; and Video Server. He also was responsible for developing and executing Safeguard's multimedia and Internet investment strategies.
Before Safeguard, Walter was president and co-founder of Centralized Management Systems, Inc., a medical supply company, which he sold in 1987. Previously, he spent three years at CoreStates as a commercial loan officer in the bank's work-out area.
Walter was included in Business Week's 2000 "eBiz 25," an exclusive listing of the most influential people in electronic business, and the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group honored Walter with its "Entrepreneurial Excellence Award" in June 2000. In June 2008, Walter received the Sal Ruccieri Award from Early Stage East for his work as a visionary in the venture capital community.

Patrick Clawson serves as Chairman and CEO of Lumension, where he is responsible for leading the company's overall strategic direction to drive revenue, growth and profitability as well as overseeing the day to day operations. Clawson brings more than 20 years of software industry experience and has a successful track record of running high tech companies. Clawson has extensive experience in both domestic and international sales, marketing, and operations with companies in the information security segment.
Prior to joining Lumension, Clawson served as Chairman and CEO of CyberGuard Corporation (NASDAQ: CGFW), a security software company he successfully grew and positioned for acquisition by Secure Computing (NASDAQ: SCUR) for $295 million.
During his tenure, Clawson developed and implemented a new global distribution strategy that catapulted CyberGuard to record breaking revenue growth and two consecutive years of profitability. He also spearheaded the launch of new technologies into the marketplace and oversaw the integration of more than four key acquisitions.
Prior to CyberGuard, Clawson served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (NASDAQ: MDRX), a provider of clinical software and information systems for doctors. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MasterChart, a health information technology company. Immediately before joining MasterChart, Clawson was Senior Director for the Southeastern U.S. at Reynolds and Reynolds Healthcare Systems, where he was responsible for sales and marketing for the company's Unix-based appliances.
Before joining MasterChart, Clawson was with Lanier Healthcare where he served in a number of management positions in the U.S. and Australia that leveraged his strengths in international sales, marketing and operations. Clawson has a wealth of experience in turning around businesses to enhance performance and grow profitability.
Brian Cooke

Brian is a Managing Director of Elevation Finance Group, an advisory firm that assists micro-cap companies in raising capital and obtaining public company status. Brian has over 20 years experience in corporate finance, M&A and venture capital. He has been associated with Keating Investments since 2007 and has formed a strategic relationship with Keating Capital to provide comprehensive services to micro-cap companies interested in becoming public. Brenon Daly

Brenon began his career in 1991 as one of the initial reporters at Prognosis, the first English-language newspaper in the former Eastern Bloc. After moving to Vienna, Brenon ran the bureau for United Press International before becoming an analyst with the Economist Group, where he researched and wrote reports for The Economist Intelligence Unit and the regional publication of The Economist.
Returning to the US in 1997, Brenon helped establish the editorial voice in the early days of CBS MarketWatch, the most popular online financial news site. Since 2000, Brenon has focused his reporting on M&A as a reporter for The Deal. During that time, he also sharpened his analytical skills, writing reports for TechDealmaker (since acquired by The 451 Group) and other the boutique research firms.

Henry Ellenbogen is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. He is also a portfolio manager and research analyst in the U.S. Equity Division. Henry serves as president and chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Media & Telecommunications Fund. He is also a vice president and Investment Advisory Committee member of the Blue Chip Growth Fund, Growth Stock Fund, Mid-Cap Growth Fund, Mid-Cap Value Fund, Science and Technology Fund, Global Technology Fund, and T. Jim's prior positions included Global Head of Technology Investment Banking at UBS, where he built a powerful global technology investment banking practice from scratch, Chief Operating Officer at Volpe Brown Whelan & Company, where he ran all aspects of the firm's investment banking and brokerage operations, and led the firm to record growth in revenue and market share prior to its acquisition by Prudential, and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Robertson Stephens, where he built the technology investment banking team into a leadership position in the industry.
Jim Finch

Jim has over 25 years of experience in several high growth segments of the communication semiconductor industry in a variety of executive business leadership roles.
Jim is today the co-founder and CEO of Amalfi Semiconductor, a leading technology company in the CMOS Cellular Power Amplifier arena. The first family of products will target the cellular handset space offering vastly superior performance solutions to today's known system problems. As a part of the founding process, Jim also spent just under a year as an Entrepreneur in Residence at both DCM — Doll Capital Management and Trinity Ventures, high profile Silicon Valley venture capital firms.
Prior to Amalfi, Jim was responsible for Broadcom's entry into the Fast Ethernet switching market. Jim drove the overall vision and business strategy of the highly successful ROBOswitch product family, which today has greater than 65% market share and revenues have easily surpassed the $100M. Jim was also responsible for several of the M&A acquisitions positioning Broadcom to become the dominant silicon player in stackable workgroup switches. This product line has grown from zero in 1998 to greater than $3000M in revenue today. Prior to Broadcom Jim held positions including — President/GM of S3's Japan subsidiary and other senior management positions at Crystal Semiconductor and Advanced Micro Devices.

Norm Fogelsong joined Institutional Venture Partners (IVP) in March 1989. With more than 28 years of high-technology venture capital experience, he currently emphasizes investments in private later-stage companies and in select public market opportunities. Norm has led investments in Artisan Components (ARMH), Aspect Communications, Compaq Computers (CPQ), Concur Technologies (CNQR), Convex Computers (CNVX), Cortina Systems, Danger (MSFT), Gaia Online, Integrated Circuit Works (CY), Lam Research (LRCX), Motion Computing, Platinum Software (EPIC), Polycom (PLCM), TelCom Semiconductor (TLCM) and Websense (WBSN).

For Cortina Systems, Norm arranged a $132 million investment syndicate, the largest private venture financing done that year. The proceeds were used to buy a $100 million division that was being spun out of Intel. In addition, Norm recently led IVP's investments in Gaia Online, the leading online hangout for teenagers on the web.
Norm began his career as a computer programmer and systems analyst at Hewlett-Packard. He then worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company where he specialized in product/market strategy. Prior to joining IVP, Norm was a General Partner with Mayfield Fund. He has served the local community as the Treasurer of the Children's Health Council, the Secretary of the Churchill Club and as a member of the Major Gifts Committees at Menlo School and Stanford University.
Norm earned a B.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University (Phi Beta Kappa), an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and a J.D. from the Harvard Law School.
Tom Furlong
Managing Director, Granite Ventures
Tom Furlong joined Granite Ventures in July 2000, after a successful career in Silicon Valley that most recently saw him as Vice President and General Counsel at Zhone Technologies, a communications equipment provider.
Prior to Zhone, Tom was a partner with the leading emerging growth company law firm of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, where he spent 13 years counseling technology companies, venture capitalists and investment banks. His clients included Adobe, Applied Signal, Ascend Communications, Datapath, Network General, Silicon Spice, SynOptics, Vantive, and Visigenic. While at Gray Cary, Tom was also a manager of their investment partnerships and sponsored several profitable investments. Tom began working with Granite Ventures in 1988 and worked closely with Adobe Ventures. His many years spent working with a wide variety of technology companies gives him a diverse industry network and makes him a strong and trusted advisor to his portfolio companies. He focuses his investments in software.
Tom currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Animotion, Biz360, Skytide and TuVox. Prior investments include Digital Fountain (acquired by QualComm), Five Across (acquired by Cisco) and Kinecta (acquired by Stellent).

James González Senior Director, Strategy and Corporate Development, Hewlett-Packard Company
James González is responsible for driving profitable growth through acquisitions and divestitures for Hewlett-Packard Company and has led recent acquisitions in storage, software and services. Throughout his career James has evaluated, structured, negotiated, and closed a variety of transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, technology licensing agreements, public debt, stock repurchase, leveraged leases, private placements, and fixed income investments.
Emily Greer
Co-Founder and COO, Kongregate
Emily is co-founder and COO for Kongregate, a user-uploaded web games site launched in 2007. Prior to Kongregate, Emily worked in marketing/e-commerce at various catalogers & retailers. More numbers-oriented than the average marketer, she built statistical and financial models predicting customer behavior as well as doing product analysis, customer research, strategic planning and website development.
Emily has a B.A. in Russian & Eastern European Studies from Yale.
Sebastien de Halleux
Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder, Playfish
Sebastien de Halleux (pronounced duh alloew) is chief operating officer and co-founder of Playfish, one of the largest and fastest growing social games companies. Sebastien leads operations in Playfish's San Francisco office where he drives distribution, monetization and business development, as well as partnerships with Facebook, Google, Apple and MySpace.
Prior to Playfish, Sebastien was part of the team that incubated Nokia Ad Service, a business unit aimed at monetizing mobile traffic across Nokia's 850 million mobile devices worldwide.
Sebastien also was an early team member of Macrospace Ltd., a company which merged with Sorrent Inc. to become Glu Mobile (NASDAQ: GLUU), where he was instrumental in building the sales and marketing functions of the organization. He later expanded Glu's distribution footprint in Europe, forged key partnerships with network operators Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange, and reorganized the company's financial planning and sales operations in preparation for its IPO on NASDAQ.
Sebastien holds a Master's in Civil Engineering with honors from Imperial College London. He has resided in Brussels, Bangkok and London, and presently lives in San Francisco.
Jeff Hirsch

An online media pioneer, Jeff Hirsch has spent the last 12 years building successful media companies and growing his knowledge and reputation as an Internet guru. As president and CEO of AudienceScience, Hirsch is responsible for building the company's world class behavioral targeting marketplace by leveraging AudienceScience's superior technology to deliver audiences for digital advertisers and real value for online publishers globally.
Hirsch has held executive leadership positions at leading media, advertising and promotions companies. In 1988, he founded Xymox Systems, Inc. (now Xytech Systems), which he ultimately sold in 1995 after steering the company to a position on the 1994 Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies. In addition to his expertise in incubating companies for strategic growth, Hirsch has held sales and marketing management positions in various start-up and later-stage technology and media companies.
Prior to joining AudienceScience, Hirsch was SVP of Business Development for ValueClick, Inc. where he orchestrated building and strengthening the company's cross-divisional publisher relationships. Hirsch joined ValueClick from Fastclick, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer for over four years. While at Fastclick, Hirsch was instrumental in building and establishing the company as a premiere internet advertising network business that was purchased by ValueClick in 2005 for over $210M.

Francis Ho

Francis Ho is Inphi Corporation's Senior Director of Business Development. Prior to Inphi, he worked at McKinsey & Company, JP Morgan Partners, ONI Systems, Siliquent Technologies, and Schlumberger. Francis holds a Ph.D. in physics from Stanford University, and a M.S. in applied physics and a B.S. in physics from Caltech.
Jack Jia
Chief Executive Officer, Baynote, Inc.
Jack is a founder and CEO of Baynote, Inc. For eight years, he was SVP & CTO of Interwoven Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV) with executive responsibilities in engineering, products, marketing, strategy and vision. Prior to Interwoven, he was a founder and CEO of V-max America. Jack led operating systems and applications development at SGI, Sun Microsystems, Stratus and NASA for over a decade. He is a frequent speaker at major conferences and has appeared on television programs in several countries. He is a contributing author in "XML Handbook, the 4th Edition", "Online! The Book", "Content Management Bible", and writes regularly about key technology issues and trends. He is a board advisor for Santa Clara University, and the president of HYSTA, a premier non-profit organization for promoting entrepreneurship.
Nagraj Kashyap
Vice President, Qualcomm Ventures
Nagraj Kashyap is a Vice President at Qualcomm and heads up worldwide activities for Qualcomm Ventures. Mr. Kashyap has over 14 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to his current role, Nagraj worked in various engineering and management capacities at Nortel, 3COM, Motorola, PRTM and Qualcomm. He currently actively manages and serves as a board member or observer for Qualcomm Ventures investments in Zeebo, Obopay, WaveMarket, Triage Wireless, and Novarra. Mr. Kashyap also led Qualcomm Ventures investments in Airvana (AIRV) and Bitfone (acquired by HP in 2007). Mr. Kashyap has an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
John Keagy
CEO & Co-Founder, GoGrid / ServePath LLC
John Keagy is CEO and Co-Founder of GoGrid, a cloud computing platform that is the world's first service to deliver standard datacenter concepts and complete infrastructure in the cloud. GoGrid is a service of ServePath, a Managed Hosting and Colocation provider based in San Francisco. Keagy is an Internet infrastructure pioneer, having built and sold several successful Internet service providers since 1991. ServePath, founded in 2001, serves the critical Internet infrastructure needs of thousands of businesses worldwide from its headquarters and data center facility in San Francisco. In 2006, Keagy saw the impending shift to the cloud as ServePath's second growth opportunity. Keagy's vision became a two year development investment, now GoGrid, the cloud server hosting service launched in March 2008 that enables customers to deploy, scale and manage load balanced servers in the cloud in just minutes through a web-based control panel.
Prior to ServePath, John founded InReach Internet in 1994 and grew it to become the largest profitable Internet Service Provider headquartered in California, with over 35,000 customers. In 1991, John used the Internet to manage the overseas development of software and electro-optical imaging devices for computer and Internet security for biometric security start-up Identicator Technology.
John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley. He lives with his wife, two children and dog in San Francisco and is an avid instrument-rated multi-engine pilot.
Alexander K. Marquez
Director, Strategic Investments, Intel Capital, Intel Corporation
Alexander is currently responsible for Intel Capital's investments and strategies related to Digital Media.
Prior to joining Intel Capital, Alexander served as technical advisor to the senior vice president of Intel's Interactive Media Services division where he advised on strategy and media investments. Alexander also served as controller for Intel's Content Services division where he oversaw financial aspects of the division, including numerous investments in Europe, Japan, Asia, and Latin America. Alexander joined Intel Corporation in 1994 where he held various management roles prior to joining Intel Capital. Alexander holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he was the past Chairman of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Advisory Board and currently serves on the College of Engineering Advisory Board. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Purdue University.
Alexander has managed or co-managed investments around the globe including Atom Entertainment (acquired by Viacom), Akella, BlackArrow, ChannelM, Gametrust (acquired by Real Networks), Envivio, Exent Technologies, K2 Network, Trymedia (acquired by Macrovision), The Generations Network (acquired by Spectrum Equity), SixApart, and Synacor. Alexander currently serves on the board of directors of BlackArrow, Envivio, K2 Network, SixApart and Synacor.
James McElwee

Jim McElwee joined Weston Presidio as a General Partner in 1992 and has been active in the venture capital industry since 1979. Prior to Weston Presidio, Jim was Senior Vice President of the Security Pacific Venture Capital Group and the founding Managing Director of its Menlo Park office. During his thirteen years with the Security Pacific Venture Capital Group, Jim was responsible for early private investments in Costco, Universal Health Services, Cypress Semiconductor, Aspect Communications, Xilinx, MIPS Computer Systems, Harmonic, Microchip, Vitesse and many others.
Prior to entering the venture capital industry, Jim was a Senior Consultant with Accenture, working with a wide range of clients in the retailing, healthcare, and technology industries. He earned his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College(where he serves on the Board of Trustees and is Chairman of the Financial Economics Institute) and his M.B.A from the Wharton Graduate School of Business (where he serves on the Wharton Entrepreneurial Advisory Board).
At Weston Presidio Jim has been responsible for investments in Digital Theater Systems (NASDAQ: DTSI), IC Works (Cypress Semiconductor), MediaQ (Nvidia), Micro Power, Purcell Systems, The Robb Report, Sassaby (Estee Lauder), Silego, Vitria Technology and Wild Oats Markets (Whole Foods).
Jim is currently on the Board of Trustees of SFJAZZ, a San Francisco based non-profit organization which produces the annual SFJAZZ concert and educational programs.
Andy Merkatz

Andy Merkatz specializes in alternative energy, technology and alternative public offerings at Vision Capital. Prior to joining Vision Capital he was the founder and Managing Partner of CountryRoad Capital, a merchant banking firm specializing in alternative public offerings. Previously, Andy served as President and CEO of Predict It, Inc., a publicly traded internet software company and as Chief Operating Officer & co-Founder of SiteSpecific, one of the first internet advertising agencies. Andrew is also Chairman and Founder of Familybuilder, Inc., a leading NYC social media application developer. Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Andy worked in middle market private equity at Interlaken Capital. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.A. in Economics, with distinction, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Richard Millard

Richard Millard represents companies, boards, investors, investment banks and financial institutions in a variety of matters, emphasizing domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital transactions and private and public equity and debt financings. He also regularly counsels boards of directors and board committees on fiduciary duty and disclosure issues.
Mr. Millard has handled significant acquisitions and divestitures involving every major commercial jurisdiction throughout the world, including most European countries, Australia, Singapore, China and Japan.
Mr. Millard has extensive experience in acquisition related financing (including senior debt facilities and private and public high-yield offerings, representing issuers, investment banks and institutional lenders). He has handled numerous portfolio acquisitions and investments on behalf of venture capital and private equity investors, including several leading Silicon Valley venture funds.

Eric invests in digital media, datacenter infrastructure and semiconductors. Additionally, he helps oversee Lightspeed's investment efforts in China. He has ten years of venture capital experience and two years of industry experience.
Previously, he worked in product management at Ciena (formerly Lightera Networks). Prior to Ciena, Eric served as an Associate at InterWest Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm, where he focused on communications and software investments, and as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley in the telecom mergers and acquisitions group.
Eric holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University. He is a member of the Advisory Board of DT Capital, a Shanghai-based venture capital firm of which Lightspeed is a limited partner. He is also Vice Chairman of Partners in School Innovation, an educational nonprofit working to improve student learning in low-income Bay Area public schools.

Mark Pincus
Founder and CEO, Zynga
Mark is a leading Internet entrepreneur, having founded and established four successful companies. His latest venture Zynga, founded in January 2008, is the largest social gaming network, and marries his knowledge of social networks with his desire to create the next mass market video game phenomenon.
In 2003, Mark founded Tribe Networks, one of the first online communities and social networking sites. Cisco purchased the core tribe.net assets to provide an initial platform for its digital media services group.
Prior to Tribe, Mark co-founded SupportSoft, Inc., a provider of service and support automation software. Mark led the company through its successful IPO to become one of the world's leading publicly traded enterprise software companies.
Mark's first company was Freeloader, the first web-based consumer push information service. Freeloader was acquired seven months later by Individual, Inc. for $38 million.

Bob, based in Cleveland, OH and Menlo Park, CA, joined Morgenthaler in 1969 and has been a Partner since 1971. From 1990 to 1992, he served as President and then Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association.
His major focus is on semiconductors, materials, and devices. He sits on the Board of Directors of Arisdyne Systems, CLK Design Automation, Five Star Technologies, Intelleflex Corporation, Paratek Microwave, Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation, Sezmi Corporation, and Xoomsys, Inc. During his tenure, Bob has been involved in many of the firm's successful investments — Apple Computer, Applied Intelligent Systems (acquired by Electro Scientific), Aptis Communications (acquired by Nortel Networks), Atria Software (acquired by Rational Software), Endwave, Gliatech, Illustra Information Technologies (acquired by Informix), Intrinsa (acquired by Microsoft), New Focus, Synernetics (acquired by 3Com), and Synopsys. From 1967 until 1969, Bob held several management positions with Foseco, Inc. Bill Ruckelshaus

As COO/CFO, Bill Ruckelshaus manages all financial strategy and operations for AudienceScience.
Prior to joining AudienceScience, Ruckelshaus was senior vice president of strategy and planning at Expedia, Inc., where he directed corporate development efforts for the company. He also oversaw corporate development activity for Expedia when it was part of IAC/InterActiveCorp. In his roles at Expedia, Ruckelshaus directed Expedia's mergers and acquisitions and central strategy efforts, spearheaded relationship discussions with key partners, and evaluated opportunities to broaden and extend the scope of travel operations.
Ruckelshaus has served in a number of senior positions including director of mergers and acquisitions for Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group, where he advised the firm's Internet, software, and services clients in a variety of strategic transactions. Before that, he worked in the planning department at PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division, and was a consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton.

Murli Thirumale
